Beschreibung: A view down onto the square, decorated with Cuban, American and occasional British flags. From ground level, Catholic Church dignitaries seated in the foreground, with an audience of Cuban civilian men, women and children standing behind barriers - the men have all removed their hats. Seated further back from the centre of events are a few civilian and American Navy dignitaries. Some members of the crowd are holding banners, one reading "San Augustin Council". A priest delivers his sermon from a rostrum covered with the US and Cuban flags. Four small Cuban boys wearing Boy Scout uniform have draped themselves in a large Union Jack - they remove their hats at the cameraman's request.
